0.8.0 is SpaceFM’s first stable release. SpaceFM is still experimental and under development, but the master branch has reached a high level of stability, and I’ll do my best to keep it as reliable as possible even as other work continues.
0.8.0 also introduces the new SpaceFM Dialog. Similar to Zenity, Yad, and many other dialog apps, SpaceFM Dialog provides a way for scripts to easily create and control GTK dialogs. SpaceFM Dialog’s design aims to keep its use simple yet very flexible. While coding and preliminary testing is complete, this part of SpaceFM needs some real use to mature. While I don’t plan to load this down with options, feedback is welcome on how the interface and feature set is working.
The User’s Manual includes a new Dialog section which fully documents SpaceFM Dialog, including examples.
