Overview
enableroot is designed to be run after a fresh install of *ubuntu to easily enable the root user. enableroot allows you to set a root password and edits the /etc/sudoers file.
Important: The root user is disabled on *ubuntu by default to prevent users from inadvertently damaging their system or rendering their system less secure. Be sure to research the pros and cons of enabling the root user before doing so.
